SST welcomes donations:

SST is a trust registered under section 12A of the Income Tax Act and enjoys recognition under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. (valid till 31.3.2011). Donor enjoys 50% exemption for their contributions to our institution under section 80G of the IT Act.

Donations can be in the name of "Srinivasan Services Trust" and addressed to The Chairman, Srinivasan Services Trust, 2nd Floor, Jayalakshmi Estates, 29 Haddows Road, Chennai 600 006, INDIA.

Foreign contribution

Srinivasan Services Trust can receive funds for rural development projects since it has FCRA clearance.

The Donor being a foreign entity, the funds received from them will be construed as Foreign Contribution and have to be mandatorily deposited in the designated bank account separately maintained for receiving foreign contributions, as per the provisions of Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).

Srinivasan Services Trust has got a separate bank account for receiving foreign contributions as it has been receiving foreign contributions from donors like Ford Foundation, Exel Foundation.
