ECOMONIC DEVELOPMENT

We aim to ensure financial security for families in the project area by:

Empowering women through Self Help Group:

Enrolling women members in Self Help Groups, train them on thrift and credit and maintaining their own group records and accounts. Linking the group with banks and involve them in Income generation activities to enable minimum additional income of Rs.2000 / month.

Improved agriculture practices

Focus on adoption of scientific methods of agriculture that are economically viable and environmentally sustainable. Individual farmers are organized into farmers association through which they are exposed to new technology and farming practices to enable them to get better yields and income.

Improved Livestock management

Arrange regular veterinary camps to reduce incidence of disease among cattle, introduce effective livestock and animal husbandry management practices

Youth development

Providing employable vocational skills to unemployed or underemployed youth by providing career counselling, training skills and help them in job placement that can help them to be gainfully employed.
